Our Success

 

The Black Business Student Association at Columbia Business School was established in 1973 to provide Black business school students with the support mechanisms necessary tosucceed in school and in the work force. Our success relies heavily on the success of our students, alumni, school administration and sponsors.

Mission

 

The mission of the Black Business Students Association is to promote the well-being of Columbia Business School’s Black student body, to assist with their professional development, and to actively serve the community.

 

Vision

 

The Black Business Student Association at Columbia Business School was established in 1973 to provide Black business school students with the support mechanisms necessary to succeed in school and in the work force. The organization is a predominantly self-supporting,student group, that relies on the generous contributions of corporate sponsors to continually achieve its mission.The organization will focus on the following goals for the year:

 

  • Strengthen existing and build new relationships with corporate America

  • Increase awareness and reputation of, as well as the participation in the organization

  • Demonstrate the value of the BBSA to the current students

  • Enhance operational effectiveness

  • Build relationships with the wider Columbia Business School Community

  • Strengthen relationships with the Alumni
